fairfield inn & suites questions???

Has anybody stayed or heard of the Fairfield Inn? They claim to be right across the street from Universal. Looking for a room for 3 nights and want to stay offsite. Anyone stay at Fairfield or have any information? Thanks for any help.

I asked the same question back in January before I stayed. Yes they are across the street, almost right next door to the twin Raddissons. Takes about 3 minutes to drive to the parking entrance with only 2 redlights in between the hotel & entrance. We stayed in a regular room with 2 double beds, not a suite. The room & bathroom were very very clean. The suites consist of just 1 king bed, a couch & wet bar, fridge, & microwave & I think 2 tvs.

They're parking lot is adjacent to Walgreens, Burger King, TGI Fridays & right across the street is a Carrabas. This is an extremely convenient location to Universal & I plan to stay here again when I will be visiting only Universal & not wanting to stay in the time shares hotelkingdom has been offering at great rates.

Thank you for the info. I have a few more questions for you. Does the hotel offer a shuttle to Universal? Do you know if a Ponderosa restaurant is in the area? Thanks again....

I believe there's a Ponderosa next to that Walgreens.

yup, Barry is right, I forgot about the Ponderosa the is tucked in between the standalone walgreens and TGI Fridays, there is also a gift shop in the little strip too.

When I stayed in January, the Fairfield shared the shuttle service with the Raddisson I believe, they did not have their own shuttle. I did not use it as I drove to Universal myself.
