I'm sorry to start a new thread, but I've searched around and can't find the previous one...
Someone was wondering about the Fairfield Inn on Harbor Blvd about a week ago, and we just came back from a stay there.
First, our room was on the back side. No big deal for us, but no view at all if you are looking for one
The room was great! Had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Hubby travels for work (he's a pilot) and stays in a LOT of hotels. He tells me it's pretty close to the type of hotel he stays in for work-maybe just slightly lower quality, but he stays in some swank places sometimes. I thought it was fine-especially that there was no gross bedspread. I hate those things.
We got a card when we checked in--good at the Millie's restaurant in the parking lot. Kids eat for 99 cents. Saved us a bit of money, as we ate there most mornings and once for dinner.
The walk to Disneyland was easy and quick. We were close enough that we could run back to the hotel to grab sweaters, drop off souveniers, etc. throughout the day.
The pool looked great, but was small. We didn't use it at all, but it did look nice.
My only complaint (and it's a minor one) is that when housekeeping came the second day they didn't replace a hand towel that was dirty. It was hanging on the rack next to the sink and I'd wiped some makeup on it that morning by accident. It was there until we left, still hanging there folded nicely. (three days) Everything else was replenished and clean.
The coffee stinks, but it's free
Hubby has Starbucks and other single use packets from his hotel stays, so we used those.
Hope that helps!!
