Fairfield Inn Marriott

Can anyone give me a review of the Anaheim Fairfield Inn by Marriott?

I'm interested, too. The Marriott website says that the 2 Queen room is only 228 square feet. Does this sound correct to anyone who's stayed there? For comparison purposes, the studio room at the Residence Inn Maingate is listed as 450 sq. ft. and the 2 Queen Garden Pool view rooms at the HoJo are 356 sq. ft. I've considered staying at the Fairfield Inn but I'm wondering if the rooms are really that small.

I stayed there last year and the room was just fine. It wasn't huge but it certainly didn't seem tiny, either. The decor was nice and everything was clean. It wasn't a fancy hotel, but I liked it and the distance from the parks was not bad. I've stayed several times at Hojo's and though the two hotels are fairly close to one another, the walk from FFI seems much easier and closer to the parks than the walk to/from Hojo.

The best thing about FFI for me was that I used points to pay for it so it was free

Residence Inn room is bigger because you have the kitchen and the little living room area with the coach.
FI rooms don't have the kitchen etc. It's a nice hotel and very close to the park.
We stayed there a few years back and are staying there again in Nov (there will be 4 of us).

We (family of 4) stayed there last February. It wasn't upscale by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasn't a dive either. For the price, it was a fantastic deal. Our 4 and 7 year old had no problem walking to the park. The restaurant in the parking lot, Millie's I think? - was fantastic. We had a "kids eat for 99 cents" deal and that saved us a ton. It was clean, the front desk was helpful and polite, we got extra towels immediately upon request, housekeeping did a good job - really, no complaints.

While it's slightly further from the parks, consider the Anaheim Marriott. Often the two are very close in price, and the Marriott is way nice! It does have its own ART stop, too.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn 2 weeks ago. While the room is not huge, it was still not crowded with all our luggage and 3 of us sharing the room. We had a 2 queen bed room along with a chair that folds out into a single bed. I could comfortably sleep up to 5 people. The customer service was excellent. When we went to check in early, we were told the room they had assigned us was not ready but they would hold our luggage and call when it was ready. When we finally got our keys, we found even though I had reserved a standard room through Costco Travel, we were upgraded to a resort view room overlooking the pool. Also waiting inside were balloons and cookies because I "liked" the Fairfield Inn on Facebook. We also received a coupon for a pizza and sodas at the Pizza Hut on property, microwave popcorn and a free pay per view movie (Toy Story 3). They also have cold water with lime and lemon in the lobby for a quick refreshing drink coming back from a hot day at the parks.

All in all, we were extremely happy with our stay.

We have stayed at the Anaheim Fairfield many times, the most recent in January this year and we have always found it fine.

The rooms arn't huge but not tiny either. We have had either 3 or 4 people in the room each time and it has been fine although I think 5 people would be stretching it.

Lots of people rave about HoJos but the extra walk puts me off. By the time you get back to your room at Fairfield after a long day in the park you will be pleased you chose Fairfield.

The pizza place on the 3rd floor is very handy when you really can't walk any further and Millies is a great place to relax for a meal at the end of the day or before you start your day.
