FAIRFIELD INN - Can we walk to USF?

With DH's Marriott Rewards, it looks like we can grab a few free nights at the Fairfield Inn. Their website says it's right across the street from Universal but can we walk? Anyone know of any other Marriott chain hotels that would be close enough to Universal that we wouldn't need a rental car (we could use hotel shuttle or walk?)

Yes, you can walk. You go thru a parking lot, to the double tree resort, then cross Kirkman. It will probably take you about 15 minutes to make it into the parking garage. This is what it will look like.
