Fairfield compared to Carousel or Camelot?

Looking at booking a trip for end of July and our go-to hotel is always the Fairfield. Prices have jumped significantly in the past year, so looking at alternatives, and considering either the Carousel or Camelot. The Fairfield is nothing fancy, but has super clean rooms, and comfy beds. We don't spend much time in the rooms, but must be clean and comfy and close to parks...walking with children. Looking for opinions on how these may compare to the Fairfield? Thanks!

Well, just randomly checking rates for those two for the last weekdays in July, I'm seeing Fairfield for $195 a night, Camelot for 159, and Carousel for $199. So money wise it looks like Camelot is your better deal. I also looked at Desert Inn, which is $139. Stayed there last year and liked it, plain but clean and comfy and good service. Staying there again this Sept. Plus, it's right at the crosswalk.

We always stay at Camelot and love it! The rooms are clean and it's a short walk. They have a mini fridge and microwave, which the Fairfield does not (at least when we last stayed there, they didn't).

Thanks Avalon! Weird, because yesterday the Fairfield was coming at $260/nt!!! I was blown away and double checked because we've stayed so many times and that seemed crazy. I'm finding it now for $205 for first night then $199/nt. That's better than what I saw yesterday. I'm also considering Park Vue Inn after searching on threads here. They are coming up at $175/nt and include breakfast....I do like the idea of being so close to the crosswalk, but wonder if the beds are comfy????

I haven't stayed there, but I've seen many posts that rave about the Park Vue bed comfort. I needed three beds and was debating between the Park Vue and the Camelot and ended up going with the Camelot, mostly because they opened up their booking more months in advance and we were doing early planning. I should mention that posts about eh Camelot mentioned comfy beds too.

PVI beds are comfy! We were there in February. Super close, good breakfast, great customer service. Good little store for drinks and stuff too.
