How far is the Fairfield Anaheim from Disneyland? On the phone, the hotel assured me it is an easy walk.
Their idea of an easy walk and mine may be different. We want to return to hotel for nap in the afternoon. The grandkids (ages 7 months, 3 years and 5 years) may not need naps, but the grandparents will.

It is about a 10 minute walk. Sometimes they run a shuttle. It is not a bad walk the first couple times -- but after a long day -- it seems far. With little kids, it might be a bit far for going home for naps. Also, the hotel is back quite a bit from the street, so it takes longer that way as well.


If you want to stay at a Marriott, the Disneyland Residence Inn has it's own shuttle.

The following hotels are the closest walk (even closer than the DL hotel). The Best Western Park Place Inn and the Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites. The Anaheim Desert inn has spacious room, but is not a 4 star hotel. I liked it fine, but my husband thought it wasn't nice enough.

Think of each hotel as about 1/2 block in normal walking distance, and add another two for getting from the pedestrian entrance to the actual PARK entrance. It's definitely walkable, but it's about the equivalent of a 5-6 block walk. Just make sure you have a stroller.
