Fair warning for CLOTS & Old Timers--The debsters are flying this week

Hey folks,

Just fair warning, that yes, the debsters will be flying to FL this week. Not to WDW, but to FL with my son's soccer team. I figure that since we are getting into the winter flying season, any experiences will be helpful.

DH & I fly out on Weds around noon time. DS did not want to miss another day of school, so he's flying out around 4:30 with another family from the team. Both flights are non-stop, Boston to Tampa. We'll be renting a car, and driving to the Sarasota area. We're staying on Longboat Key, and the boys are playing in Bradenton.

So, wish us luck, that the travels are smooth, as there are 18 families coming in from our area on Weds & Thurs.

I'll be sure to update our adventures, because they have gotten pretty humorous at times.

I think we got the bulk of the hideous weather today. We were on the road from Bridgewater to Lancaster this morning, and 495 was like an ice rink. Apparently Rt 2 was even worse, and 290 was shut down for a time.

We are VERY much looking forward to this trip, it's going to be nice to be in the warmth, and it's a great accomplishment for the boys.

I'll keep my special travel luck to myself!

I traveled to Bristol RI around 3.....it wasn't iced by then, thank God. But really rainy. And it's supposed to be rainy on Tuesday morning....great for my flight out of Worcester!
