Didn't get out of the office until late due to some technical difficulties with one of our remote offices, so I didn't get to the Loew's hotel until near 3:50 pm. The line outside had a hundred people or so in it when we were informed the Fire Marshall closed the room to further occupants. I heard 450 and I heard 1000 people were inside...never got an accurate count.

While waiting in line to get our goody bag (t-shirt, memo-diary book, collectable like pin, big round pin, bumpersticker, pen and a blank index card) Mr. Disney (Roy) came down to press the flesh, apologize for the lack of room and thank everyone for coming out. It occured to me afterward that I now have 1 degree of seperation from Walt Disney. :cool2:

Also in attendence outside were the Christian Action people who are against Eisner because of the gay pride thing held in WDW, and someone who must be in the Eisner camp handing our a forbes article about Roy and Stanley highlighting their less than pure/successful backgrounds and business investments.

I did get a number of photos, but I can't download them until I get home...forgot the usb cable.

 I wonder if they ever stopped to think that some of those stockholders they were trying to sway might possibly be gay

I'm a little surprised that they didn't foresee the need for a larger venue. While I still voted for Eisner, I think it was nice of Roy to come outside and greet folks when the crowd reached capacity. Thanks for the report.

I'm not going to get into a discussion or argument about it, but, you voted FOR Ei$ner? How sad. :(

Glad that Roy came out to see those that were unable to make it in....from what I heard from Loew's employees there were 1000 seats inside and Roy said that there were about 600 outside....

I'm sure it is very difficult to get venues at the 8 week mark...I'm sure they got the largest that they could find...
