Me?!?!?!

You're following MYexample? :confused3

I'm a role model?!?!?!?

God help you! :rotfl:

Hey! I'm just recognizing royalty when I see it! ;) :teeth:

I've been planning to join FB since I came back from my Gay Days trip. I just haven't taken the time to do it yet.

But don't all completely disappear from here. I already miss much of the repartee.

LOL FB... that evil site that I tend to waste too much time on! :lmao::surfweb:

Procrastinate much? Chop, chop!! Get over there and create an account!

Yea, what can I say? I still haven't even unpacked from my trip! I got the pictures off the camera but that's about it. Guess you could say I'm slow at getting around to things.

I suppose I should have an UNpacking Mandate, but I don't.
DH was a menace with that washer & dryer in the villa! He was CONSTANTLY doing laundry. Which he NEVER does at home. The majority of the clothes are clean, but it was a HUGE pain in the tush to keep the clean stuff separate from the dirty stuff for the trip home. I usually have maybe one suitcase where we consolidate the leftover clean clothes. Not this time! We have one of the big suitcases full of dirty clothes, a carry-on full of souvenirs, and all the rest of the bags are clean clothes. But of course now they are all mixed together and nobody can find their own stuff. :headache:

Yes, I SHOULD be unpacking now. But I'm not. :rolleyes1

I should have brought my laundry over for him to do. Being broke is no good when your complex only has coin-operated laundry :rotfl:

That's similar to how I packed for the trip home. One suitcase has the dirty clothes and the other has clean clothes. I has a separate carry-on for souvenirs. Although I ended up buying the 2 piece luggage set they offered at the stores with minimum purchase. so I used the roller for the carry-on and packed the other (along with the original extra bag I took). Since they're my casual summer clothes and I don't need them for work I'm in no hurry to unpack and do laundry.

If he wouldn't have done it for you I am sure he would have shared the washer & dryer with you! :rotfl2:

You could have done your laundry and sat on our balcony watching the animals. Well, maybe. We only had animals outisde in the late afternoon. If we wouldn't have come back for a break each day I don't think we ever would have seen anything out there! There was a rogue zebra outside really late one night, but in the morning it was deserted.

I may have to dig in the luggage for something to wear to work tomorrow. my "casual summer stuff" and my "work wardrobe" are the same clothes! ;)

I am not even sure how we managed to buy enough stuff to fill one whole carry-on bag. I bought a Star Wars blanket and a photo album so I guess those took up a lot of room.

So are Rosie's! :lmao:

That's too bad you didn't see many animals from your balcony. I thought my room was going to be bad for viewing since it was in the corner but we had a great view. It seemed like every time I looked out there was a giraffe or two or three standing there.

Ohgeezohgeezohgeez! SEE? This is what I was afraid of...

Can you elaborate a bit on your warning??

Make sure your privacy settings are all set so that only your friends can see anything, and don't post all of your personal info like address and phone #'s unless you want those open on the web :thumbsup2

Oh, there were a TON of animals out there! You just had to know when to look! We had up to 4 giraffes, 3 zebras, 3 ostriches, an eland, some big freaky bird things that might have been storks, a couple of roan antelopes. In the distance we could see the ankole cattle and the crowned cranes. But if you wanted to enjoy your morning coffee whilst watching the animals you were out of luck! :rotfl2: The best was watching the CM's try to power wash the slime out of the "watering hole" while the ostrich "helped".

I always check my privacy settings on FB and make sure they are on "Friends Only".

The other thing to be aware of is that if you comment on a public page (for example, Disney World or HRC or something of that nature) a Google search of your name will bring up your post and you CAN'T DELETE IT! DS was fooling around one day and he Googled my name. He was able to bring up comments I made on the DVC page, the HRC page, and a couple of others. That wigged me out, so I tried to delete them. Well, it essentially archives screen shots of posts as they are posted, so even if you go back and delete it there is still a record of the original post. Now I try to refrain from posting comments on public pages!

See, that's one of the reasons I've been hesitant to join FB. That, and I just don't think my life is interesting enough to put out on the web. :confused3

That's okay! You don't have to update your status every 15 mintues. In fact, the friends who do that, I block. I don't really need to know every time you go to the bathroom, or that you just bought a candybar from the vending machine. :rotfl:
