Would anyone like to explain the concept to me?
Thanks.
I don't get it, like, at all.

Social networking?
It's just a way to keep in touch with friends far and near.
It's kind of like Myspace, minus code and alll that jazz.
I like it a lot better.

That pretty much sums it up.

My friend described it really well once. She called it a "less trashy myspace". It's just a place to talk to friends. You can add photos, play games on it, etc.

It's the same concept of myspace.
It's really plain and simple and has no layouts.
I like it but I get bored of it really quick...

I dunno, but facebook seems really complicated to me.
My friends all say you get used to it after awhile, but I gave up on mine two days after I made it.

It is very complicated type of myspace. I had one for two days got rid of it then I got it back two weeks ago because my friend told me to.

Its like myspace, but IMO safer since people have to be in your network/your friend to see your profile. And even then you can limit them to see a "limited profile"

I use Facebook all the time to keep in touch with people I meet from traveling.
The only down side to facebook is all the user created applications, but you dont have to have them if you dont want to :)

It confused me at first, I prefer MySpace though, but maybes thats because I had a MySpace about a year before I had a Facebook so I was used to that.

i have a myspace. and just when you said that i thought about it.. what does that mean. Like if you go someones profile it says blah blah blah.. is in your extended network what does that mean. I dont think ive came across one that doesnt say that??

im on facebook waay too much >_<... its like myspace in the sense that you can leave eachother comments and such.. but its better because theres no bots and you really dont get invites from strangers.. plus, its a lot more organized so you can find your friends a lot easier and faster

I'm on facebook wayyyy to often. I def prefer facebook to myspace.

The reason why is that it's more for college-aged people, as a social-networking thing, a way to keep up with what is going on at your school. It was originally just for college students, and you had to have a college email in order to create a facebook. But now anyone can create one.

I still love it. It's the perfect procrastinating tool. :)

I don't get Facebook, either.
I have made one and I have a myspace, too.
I really like myspace a lot more.

I understand that Facebook is just like myspace, it's just that I don't get how to use it.
Oh well.

And I don't 'get' Myspace, never have. Lol.
