I have seen some pictures in signatures (can't find them now to save my life) of some awesome face painting. Where can you get this done. I especially liked the ones that look airbrushed of butterflies and things. I saw a great one of Tigger somewhere also. I'm thinking this would be a great way to dress for MNSSHP....face painting and a coordinating sweat suit or something. Any help would be appreciated. I would also love to see your photos of your painted faces! THANKS :flower:

Howdy,

You can get this done in AK right next to Triceratops Spin. The ride like Dumbo but with Dinosaurs.

My daughter had it done this past March and I think it was $10 or $12 dollars.

Sorry I don't have a photo to post but it really looked great.

Hope this helps,
Frank :wizard:

Sorry, I do not have a picture either but my DD had her face painted in MGM for about $10.

There are several places in MGM. One was across from the Muppets fountain (I love it there), and one is near the entrance to Indiana Jones.

My DD4 got it done for $11 and she chose to be a cat...too cute and we got comments all day long from CM's. One even asked her (very sweetly) if she was a distant cousin of Simba's. Very fun and lasted all day....

There's also face painting at toon town across from the bathrooms near the barnstormer. I thin from about $8 to $20. My son had a lion once and a tiger which were both AWESOME :earsboy: and they were $15. BTW when i Went to tip, the CM's refused as against policy.

ENjoy :flower:

When I was there a few months ago I saw a place you could get it done in toon town- not sure of the name- but it looked so cute! :earboy2:

*edit* opps! I didn't notice the post above me :rotfl2: sorry

Here's my granddaughter. She had it done in Toon Town.

My kids had it done last year at Epcot during F&WF and I saw a stand set up this year over Easter. It was near Canada.

Toontown has awesome face painters! DS7 got his face painted like a pirate and he wore it proudly all day throughout MK and then on to Epcot. There were 4-5 other boys waiting in line, so my son thought it was cool. And lots of lovely little girls got pretty butterflies and princesses. Like others posted, they're in the $8-$15 range.

It wasn't something we had planned to do, and as a result, we went at not a great time -- Noon -- and that was the longest line we waited in all trip.

I can imagine what it will be like on Oct. 31! But we really want to do it. I'm thinking around 2 or 3 in the afternoon at a DIFFERENT park from MK, then to the resort to rest for a little while, change and head to MK for MNSSHP. What do you guys think? I love the butterfly face. That is precious. I would love to see more if you have them. Come on guys!

There's a wonderful woman, Brandy, that does face painting on the "Boardwalk" near ESPN.

She has been doing face painting for the children of our best friends for about 8 years now -- she use to be at Sea World.

My kids had wonderful face painting done at Epcot. I just can't figure out how to get it posted.

Can someone please tell me how to post the picture? :goodvibes

My daughter had her face painted at AK near the Safari. It came out so great that I want to do it next time I go (June trip with no kids). Hopefully another one of the "girls" will do it with me. I have some great photo's but liek the above posters, could not figure out how to do it! :badpc:

All the parks do it. My DD had a awesome one done at AK It was a butterfly looking but it went down around her neck and down her arm. She must of had 100 people take pictures of it. I wish I had a digital camara.

OK, here are some of our pics.... these were done in 2003, at AK near the safari....
They turned out so good on the kids that we all decided to get them done!
This is my sis in law with some type of butterfly...

We all loved it! The prices ranged from about 10-12 dollars each.. they do take cc at the one in AK!
We got soooo many compliments all day long!

My daughter and her cousin had a blast with their face painting. We did it at toontown next to the Goofy's Barnstormer. It's a tent with kid-size barber shop type chairs and each child is assigned a face-painter. The process took about 10 minutes and we got some great pictures during the process.

How long does the paint usually stay on for? And do they only do faces or will they do arms? (DS3 isn't too keen on having things on his face, but he loves to get stuff painted on his arm and pretend it is a tattoo.) I have had the painting done some places that doesn't even last all day, and at some places where it lasts nearly a week.

We had the ones you see in the pics above done in september... so it was hot and humid!
My sis in law and I had ours on all day long! We even kept it on for our dinner at Ohana that nite.
My hub and bro however, started sweating, and it started to run... so they eventually went in the bathroom adn washed it off.
The kiddos lasted great all day, until we went on kali river rapids, and the boys got soaked, it started to run, and then they touched it and it looked horrible.... so we had to go wash it off!

Someone else said their daughter had one that went down their arm.... so maybe they do them on arms too?

If it is not extremely hot, and you dont get it wet... it should last all day! But I imagine if you let your kids sleep with it on, it would not look so good in the morning!
Be sure to take lots of pics! They do a great job!

Hi,
Here is a pic of my kids with their faces painted.
Facepainting in MK
I think these cost about $ 12.00 ea and only took about 20
minutes total (10 waiting in line and 10 to do the painting).
I love all the different ones they do, it is really neat.
Good Luck.
