Is there anywhere at DL, DCA or DTD that have face painting airbrush tattoos or henna tattoos?

TIA:cool1:

There's definitely face painting inside Disneyland back near Matterhorn and Alice rides. I believe there is also face painting in DTD. Not sure about DCA. I haven't found a place for airbrush tattoos. I'm always on the lookout since last time at DW I got a mickey head on my calf which got me a lot of comments :rotfl2:

Thanks!!! My DD3 will be so happy to get her face painted!!! I cant believe that I have never seen it! I have been to DL so many times!:rotfl:

At DCA the face painting and airbrush/henna is close to the sun wheel. We were just there last weekend and DS wanted to get his face painted but DH couldn't justify the cost. Hope this helps!

oh cool! Thanks so much!!! Do you happen to remember about how much?

DCA might be better for us bc DD3 wants her face painted and DS7 wants airbrush!

We did face painting by Princess Fantasy Faire. I don't remember the prices, but there was a range, depending on if you wanted a full face or just a flower (which was a big flower) or skull w cross bones. They are wonderful about doing free touch-ups. My DD cried later in the day and the face painting got very smudged, which made her cry more. We went back and there was a long line. They took us in the front of the line and fixed it up wonderfully, no hassle at all. It was our last day in DL and would have been horrible to end it on a bad note. Instead, it ended with more appreciation for how wonderful DL is. :flower3:

I love that they really try to make it the happiest place on earth!! Im so glad they were able to make your night a little easier with a happy DD!:lovestruc

I just might get my face painted with my daughter!

I believe the prices range from $12 to $17. Of course DS wanted the $17 and little bro would have needed one also so we skipped (these are the face painting prices). There is also a place in DTD, not a shop but sort of a covered wagon that did it also, might be a little cheaper but we didn't check. Have fun!

No info on face painting, but wanted to chime in that the CMs at Disneyland really do try their hardest to make your trip most enjoyable.

-My Mickey snowman popcorn bucket fell apart on its own spilling all my popcorn. They gave me a new bucket and corn refill for free when I showed my receipt.

-Got my Kermit ears embroidered a few days after I bought them even though I didn't have my receipt anymore, but I was buying another set of ears with embroidery.

That was the price for the one in DTD as well. Only bad thing about staying at the DLH was when we passed it every morning DS4 asked for it and I had to say no since I can't justify $12 for that (and + losing the time we could be spending in the park!). If it was around $5-$8 maybe ... but $12-$17?
Only place I saw for cheaper than that was at Electronica, and they were much smaller designs for around $5 I think ... its probably on the Electronica thread.
Must figure out a clever way around that face-painting cart for this fall ...

couldn't justify a 12.00 cost? skip 4 sodas and you're good to go! ;) kidding I know from this past week how hard it is to conserve money there.

Grandson and Granddaughter got this done in Disneyland Park. It is located across from the loading area at Matterhorn. Price was $15.00 each for the one's the kids picked. Lilly got the Unicorn -- It was a mask over the eyes with a unicorn on her cheek. It was so beautifully done. We had a young artist that did very good work. (One cast member appeared to not be happy with her job and her work showed that unhappiness) Take a few mins and watch to see what Artist would meet your needs. Austen picked the Dragon. Same concept-- mask over eyes with Dragon over face. The art work lasted all day. Granddaughter insisted she sleep with hers ON. I was worried the color would come off on pillows but that was not issue. Shower next morning took any remaining paint off face. For $15.00 spent, this was one of the great buys for kids. It lasts all day and cast members and guests all made lovely comments on the masks.

Hope this helps. Will see if Daughter can post a picture to go with this.

My daughter (8 y/o) had a butterfly painted on her by a great artist, Jodi, by the exit of Pixie Hollow. I can't tell you how much it cost because we were stopped on our way out and offered a complimentary face painting.

From past experience, just want you to be prepared for the "optional glitter" that costs $3-$4 on top of the quoted price. They won't mention it until the end :upsidedow
