When we were there last May I seem to remember a face painting kiosk set up near Pixie Hollow... is it still there? Does the face painting last all day?
I'd appreciate any info regarding costs and maybe even how busy it gets. Do you put down your name and wait or call ahead? My thought was to get DD8 face painted for the night of a Halloween Party - she is going as a Snow Princess and it with the new Frost Fairy/Winter theme being advertised it would tie in great with her costume.

Not aware of face painting in DL myself. I have seen occasional face painting done in various areas around DL park from time to time. Most recently just outside Big Thunder but that was temporary.

Over in DCA there is a face painting kiosk that I believe is permanent in Paradise Pier in front of the boardwalk games. Possibly on Halloween party nights someone may know if they have face painting as a regular feature.

Last year they had face painting near the Mexican restaurant in DL, which I can't remember the name of, they had a whole Day of the Dead display. It was being done all day, but I don't remember how much it cost.

Last time we were there was Halloweentime 2010 and they had a face painter on the east end of the park. I honestly don't remember where, but by Tink's sounds about right. I don't remember the price, but as far as how busy it was we only had to wait for one person ahead of us, and we just walked up.

When we were there they were set up by Matterhorn.
It looks like there carts can go most anywhere.

Sorry I don't remember the cost.

Thanks for the info guys, my Halloween party is on my last day in DL so I'll have some time to scout out the locations before hand I guess... I'm not very artsy so somebody else painting DDs face would be a God send.

My girls got their faces painted this past January. They were set up by the Matterhorn. Price depending on design. I think anywhere from $15-$25 or around there. It did last all day. There was one child in progress and one more before us in line. They work pretty fast so we just waited. It sounds like this would be perfect for her costume!

Oh, they definitely have face painting. Here's DW and DGD getting their faces painted across from the Matterhorn:

And here they are at the Golden Horseshoe watching Billy Hill. DDIL calls this Glamma and her mini-me :rotfl2:

My DD did the face painting by the Matterhorn recently, too--I think it was 17$. Pretty and lasted fairly long, but try not to go swimming until you're ready for it to wash off. There's one in DCA also down by the games in Paradise Pier, and there's one in Downtown Disney, too. (We scoped them all out, looking for a no-wait opportunity!) It seemed to me that there were less people waiting earlier in the day, but that may just have been the days we were there.

We had face painting by Princess Fantasy Faire area. Later in the day, my DD was overtired, cried about something, and then saw the tears ruined her face painting. That made her cry more and so face painting got worse. We brought her back to the area to get it redone. I was so pleased that they took us right in front of the line, no charge, fixed her right up. It was our last day in the park and could have been a horrible end with all the tears. But it made our trip even more magical with all the special care they gave our DD. I love DL!

I was there on Saturday. DTD price is 15-25 for the whole face. No ap discounts. Have you tried 356 studio? It's pretty cheap and might better choice w/ the appointment option.

I wish I had that Disney feeling at work.
