Face Characters Meet n Greets at Shanghai Disneyland?

If Shanghai DL will be a model for the parks opening elsewhere, I'm curious about character interaction. I've been sifting through the pictures coming in from the Shanghai park reopening and I see cast members in face masks but I don't see pictures of character meets at all.

I figure there will be a lot of changes to accommodate social distance and CM safety requirements. I imagined that would entail a bit more of an air-gap than usual when meeting a character and face characters would wear a mask. To be honest, how masks would be integrated into each character's costume is something I'm curious to see.

But maybe they just clipped it from the itinerary altogether? Anyone here know first-hand?

Characters are not doing meet and greets, they are posted on top of the train station waving or walking around but not meeting anyone, just walking

Don’t know if Shanghai does this or not but in Disneyland Tokyo, the characters don’t have regular meet and greets and I didn’t see any of them sign autographs, the characters just walk around the parks, they wave at everyone and if it’s a talking character they speak, don’t know what they say , but they talk to the people around them, they may or may not stop for a pic, but they never let a line form! They just keep moving, but I guess mask would put a damper on that too!

Tokyo DL does have some stationary character meets but I don't think any of them were face characters. I went with a couple college kids we had hosted as exchange students a few years earlier and the girl insisted on meeting Duffy. I think the line took an hour.

But most of the characters were free-range. Saw more of this in Disneyland out in California as well.
