Face Character "Requirements"...??

Flynn was listed on the auditions rosters not long ago-- maybe 10 days ago?-- definitely after it was announced that he had been pulled from the M&G.

Maybe they are auditioning for the MNSSHP Flynns. The parties start in what....... about 8 weeks?

I am wondering if they just haven't updated that...he was listed for auditions during the whole news of his removal, and after...he has sort of constantly been listed since I started checking back in June when the rumors started. Maybe they have no idea wth they are doing....

5'6'' is NOT the max height in florida.


considering the max height for terrence is 5'7'', and he's a fairy...I'd say the max height for peter is around 5'8'' or 5'9'' at the most.

I'm 5'8'' and I've stood next to one of the current peters and he was eye level with me, so I think they've raised the height for it.

Princes have to be between 5'10'' and 6'2'' though, so you may get a prince spot. I know they'll be auditioning for Flynn soon

That is incorrect. Official height for Pan, based on the new corporate guidelines, is 5'0" - 5'2". (Used to be taller.)

Remember that it doesn't matter how tall each character is in relation to others. The fact that Terence is taller means nothing. He's a fairy. And since we (as mere humans) shrink down to fairy size to talk to Tink and her friends, it makes sense that they would be the height of regular people. They can make their size whatever they want their size to be.

Pan, however, is still a boy. He never grew up. He's "boy sized" -- 5'0"-5'2". If you were eye-to-eye with a current Peter Pan, either he was standing on a curb or you're not as tall as you think you are. A 5'8" Pan wouldn't even fit the costume.

Nope ... sorry. They won't. (And, for the record, Peter Pan's height range is 5'2" - 5'6".) Each character (particularly face characters) have very strict height "windows", and Disney does NOT deviate. First and foremost because characters need to look alike. Doesn't really work when photo #1 that little Susie has with Peter Pan has him at one height and photo #2 has him four inches taller. Kind of hard to maintain the magic that way, y'know? Not to mention that costumes are built within a certain range. A few inches one way or another can make for an ill-fitting costume!

I don't think so. I'm like 5'7 1/2" and the Peter I met on Friday was about the same height as me, maybe an inch taller.

December 2010, PP with my son. DS was 6.5, is leaning in this picture, and was over 4 feet. PP isn't *that* tall, but (especially since his legs are like they are, making him look shorter than he is), he's taller than I am at 5'3", since DS's head was taller on my body than on PP's at that time.

Just hiking bout isn't that against labor laws lol, I mean they won't hire you for the job cause your too tall, I don't think they have a specific requirement, I think they know what they want and pick it but you can't say you can apply or be seen because your so tall... Try out for another character maybe Flynn rider he is average looking(meaning about anyone with light skin and brown hair can play him.

ROFL so true - I tell people I'm 5'6" but in reality that's only really early in the morning on a good day! Most of the time I'm 5'5 1/2"

I was about the same height as Peter Pan recently - his height surprised me but it's not something I really worry about. He was highly amusing and we had a great time meeting him - I think it was our April trip from this year.
