Face Character height query

Hi! After having recently returned from a trip to WDW, my desire to be a face character has been reignited. I'm from the UK and I know auditions for WDW rarely take place in England but working at WDW would be the ultimate dream!

I've always wanted to portray Belle, whether it be at a meet and great or as a Belle performer, however I am only 5"1. Does anyone know if there have ever been any Belle's at this height (or at this height but then added height with costume shoe heels) or are Disney generally very strict on height?

Many thanks :)

P.S Apologies if I have posted this topic in the wrong forum! I wasn't really sure where the best place for it would be.
The DLP characters auditons happen in Pineapple Studios in London sometimes. Maybe a role in DLP then a move to WDW?

Looking at the link someone else already shared, I see these:

For Animal Kingdom:
Princess Tiana: Female, 5'5" - 5'8", with a slender build and confident, outgoing personality.

Elena of Avalor: Female, 5'2" - 5'6", she is bold, caring, funny, and clever, a 16 year-old who is ascendant to the throne of the fairy tale kingdom of Avalor. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Moana: Female, 5'3" - 5'5", with an athletic build. Moana is compassionate, spirited, tenacious, passionate, clever, and determined in her journey to become a master wayfinder.

Time zone: Pacific Time (US & Canada)
Seeking Fairy Godmother Look Alike for the Main Street Electrical Parade, a twinkling spectacular which winds its way through the heart of Disneyland® Park.

Roles: Seeking female character actress with heights 5'4"-5'6" who can play the loopy and lovable Fairy Godmother.

Not according to what we have been told by those going through the audition process. My Dd is interested in the Disney performer route so we talk to as many people as possible. According to several girls we have talked to recently, Merida is not the same standard as the other princesses. They are looking for 5'1" to 5'3".

I'm not doubting your experience at all, just sharing mine as well.

Looking through my recent photos, almost all the princesses are slightly shorter or the same height as I am (with their heels) and I'm real-world 5'8. Tiana is usually taller by an inch, and Aurora is sometimes the same. There's one friend of rapunzels who I think may be 5'4", but she's the shortest I ever meet

That's odd as all the official casting notices for Merida have put her in the 5'4" -5'6" category. I've never heard of a 5'1" to 5'3" princess. The only "shorter" face I have encountered is Alice who often is also friends with fur characters as well.

Elena is being cast starting at 5'2" right now, but when I met her she was my height. So Her current range is probably just to get a feel for who is available.

I am 5'4" and the most recent Merida we met was shorter than me, noticeably, but taller than DD who is 5'1". That is what started us looking into it because we had always assumed DD was too short to ever have a shot at a princess (they say she is done growing at 13 and 5'1") I still think she will be too small.

On another note, does anyone know if the height standard for dance roles is as strict as characters?

Dancers have a bit more range, especially on the upper end. A former roommate is a dancer outside of Disney, but struggled to move through Disney auditions because she is so short. Being slightly taller, especially if that length is in legs, really seems to be an advantage for performers.

Another former roommate was in entertainment, but only as a fur performer (for both M&G and Parades). I don't know if she didn't want to be a dancer, or she just decided not to be and stick with characters, but the lack of height was definitely an hindrance for both of them

I know an Alice very well and this was her experience. I think she's about 5'2...AKA "Mouse height"
