Face character dining outside parks?

Hi,

I know that this is sort of available information on the net, but I am having a hard time figuring out our best course of action.

We are planning to go to Orlando next August but NOT do Disney; we will do the "other parks" and chill at our hotel a bit. Definitely want to do Downtown Disney, however. Our DD is entering the "princess-crazy" stage and we would like to be able to do a character meal (she also watches a LOT of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse but she is still scared of characters in costumes so that probably won't go over well). Most of the meals outside the parks seem to have only one princess which is a shame; so I was wondering if there's any opportunities I'm missing. Do they still do the "Pirate and Princess" party or was it a boat ride?

I realize by next summer she may not be scared of costumed characters, but I'm trying to cover my bases. Thanks for any suggestions.

The only princess character meal outside the park is 1900 Park Fare dinner at the Grand Floridian. It has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Druzilla.

Other character meals outside the parks: Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, 'Ohana breakfast at the Polynesian, and Cape May at the Beach Club.

1900 Park Fare @ the Grand Floridian is face characters.

For dinner - Cinderella & the prince, and the stepmother/sisters.

In the morning, it's mixed - Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Tigger, Mad Hatter.
