Fab5 vs. Spongebob

I was thinking the other day how the Fab 5- Mickey,Minnie,Donald,Goofy and Pluto are jsut like some of the main characters in Spongebob. Has Stephen Hillenburg got inspiration from Disney?

I can see the comparisons for Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Scrooge, but the Mickey and Minnie comparisons are kind of a stretch. At least to me.

But yeah, that's an interesting thought
