Wanted to share what a wonderful day of free stuff I've had today!

A few weeks ago, I signed up for an account with Lot18, when they were offering a $20 credit for first time subscribers. The site sells mostly bottles of wines. It was hard to resist getting something right away, but I held steady and kept checking back periodically for free shipping days. Today it paid off and I got a nice Zinfandel that retails for $40, totally free including s/h.

Then, this afternoon I got an email from a friend telling me a site called Plum was offering a free $10 credit for first time subscribers. I signed up and with the credit I "bought" a $20 credit for a toy site called Yoyo. I was able to fill my cart at Yoyo with three neat clearance toys: a Harry Potter-brand Sorting Hat (my 10 year old sister is crazy about Harry Potter right now), a box set of Judy Blume's four Fudge series novels and a pack of Star Wars mad libs.

The $20 credit didn't apply to shipping, so I got as much as I could for the $20 then paid the shipping. However, my confirmation was sent to me with a glitch, basically just some missing info. I called the site to clear it up and they gave me the shipping free for my hassle, making the total $0.

I'm psyched! The toys are going to make some cute holiday gifts and the bottle of wine is a sweet treat for me! Hope others are finding some good deals too! :goodvibes

I actually got two $10 catalinas for Plum District when I was grocery shopping the other day. I used the one of the codes to order the $20 toy voucher, too. I got 3 Lego sets to give to Toys for Tots (no little ones here) and it only cost me $9 with shipping and tax! The packages are supposed to arrive today and tomorrow. So keep an eye out for grocery catalinas with redemtion codes on them for Plum District. You could have some more free (or cheap) stuff coming your way!
