We are going to be at WDW the Wednesday - Saturday leading into Columbus Day weekend (heading home Sunday, the day before Columbus Day).

We have been planning to hit the F&WF on Wednesday and Thursday but I'm thinking of switching up our park days, which would mean moving our Thursday F&WF day to Friday.

Is the difference in crowds between a Thursday and a Friday big enough that it would make you not want to switch days? I've heard it gets more crowded as the week goes on and the weekends are very busy. Not sure if the Friday of a holiday weekend would be just as bad.

Thoughts? Thank you!

Fridays are typically busier than Thursday, but in my experience the crowds aren't really there until dinner time. If you were planning to eat dinner at the F&W, then you'll probably see a marked difference if you go Friday.

I think Friday of a 3 day weekend is always going to be much busier than a Thursday. Even just regular F&WF days I see a big difference between Thurs and Fri.

Yes, the difference is definitely big enough to make me not want to switch days. It starts to get busy in the World Showcase around lunchtime on Friday and becomes downright crowded as evening approaches.

I wouldn't switch days either. As PP mentioned, Fridays become increasingly more crowded each minute past lunch.

If you plan to stay into the evening, choose Thursday. On Friday nights it can get pretty crowded.
