F&W wristbands?

If you are talking about the small Food & Wine themed gift cards on the bracelet, you can get them at the Festival marketplace in Futureworld and I think they have them various other places in World Showcase.

If that's not what you're referring to, then I don't know.

The only wristband is the one with a tiny charge attached so you don't have to keep taking out cash or your room/credit card. It's on a "springy" type bracelet. Otherwise there is no separate wristband. All is included in your ticket.

What are these and where can i get one. :)

There is a difference between a gift card wristlet and a wristband that is used for different events at the Food and Wine Festival.

A wristband is something that a cast member will wrap around your wrist prior to entry for a prepaid extra event at the Festival such as Party for the Senses or 3D Dessert Discovery.

A gift card wristlet is a Disney gift card that is free with a minimum load of $5, I believe, on the card. In other words, if you want the wristlet gift card it will cost you $5 but then you can use that money that has been loaded on the card anywhere that accepts Disney gift cards.

Most Disney gift cards look like plastic charge cards but at Epcot during the Festival and also at the Water Parks (year round) they sell gift cards that have a perforation on the card for breaking and a wristband attached to the card.

Before breaking at perforation:

Same card but as a wristlet:

During the Festival the food and beverages at the pavilions in the World Showcase are not free or included in your Epcot admission ticket.

This is a Disney gift card, like any other Disney gift card. It just has a different pattern, different shape, and a wrist holder.

You can use it anywhere a Disney gift card can be used, not just at the festival. I have used mine at Disneyland (after having to explain that it is indeed a regular Disney gift card).

That's a nifty little card! Now if they'd only come out with a fun wristlet type for everyday use.......I'd buy a few! LOL

Hows the quality on those wristlet gift cards? Do they easily fall apart or is the quality good enough that you don't really have to worry much about the card falling off?

I think the quality is fine - we have some that are years old that we still reload and use. However, wearing it on my wrist bugs me after not too long. I don't have a big wrist and I find it to be a bit too tight or just bothersome.

They sell the wristlet at blizzard beach & typhoon lagoon year round. You can use them year round at all of the parks. Last summer they sold them in World Travelers at the International Gateway. We used them in Epcot.

The spring bracelet is attached to the card with a plastic white clip. That has popped for me before. So the bracelet was still on my wrist but the card fell off. Luckily a friend noticed it and we picked up the card immediately. That was one from two years ago and there were a lot of poor quality clips that year. Hopefully Disney addressed that problem with the supplier because I didn't have any problem with last year's bracelet.

If you're there when you are able to get one of these, you CAN use it for everyday use. It's just the same as any other Disney gift card; just because it has a Food and Wine Festival pattern does not mean it can only be used for that. They're also sold at the water parks.
