Are the booths open during EMH at Epcot for the F&W fest?

and, confused...do you sign up for the beer tastings or do you line up and get a 'ticket'?

Sorry if this is already posted somewhere!

I would like to know too...
I have read somewhere that you just show up at the England pavilion (at 11)and sign up for the beer tasting. I don't think you get a ticket, you just go back at your designated time. Can anyone confirm this?

You don't get a ticket for the beer tasting. Look for a cast member at the
podium outside the Rose and Crown pub, and ask to sign up for the beer
tasting. They will put your name on a list.

Just return 5-10 minutes before the designated time slot given to you,
and check in at the podium again.

Ahhh. Thank you BriarRosie! Any other tips relating to the beer/wine samplings? (including the ones you pay for)

ditto,
I'll be there in 5 (count'em... Five) days!! I plan to try and sample the beers (especially the free ones), but wasn't sure if the freebies are the same as what you can buy in the park. If so, maybe not worth the wait by getting on a list etc... any other info would be great.

thx.

There is also a free beer tasting offered by Sam Adams by the American pavilion. If they haven't changed it you just line up for that one. They offer it at scheduled times thoughout the day every day. The Australia exhibit has a wine walkabout that you pay for and they also offer several free tastings throughout the day, they post their own schedule at their exibit area. There are many Wine seminars offered each day that are free, but you line up for those, there is a schedule of these in the Guide you get at the entrance gate.

Karrit's advice was terrific. I wanted to add that the free seminars are
walk ups, and it's always good to get in line early. I don't know if 30 minutes
early is too early this year, but when the wine was at the Terrace (which
is not set up this year), I had to get in line that early to get a seat. I have
never been to the wine rooms in the Innoventions building yet.

I'm going to have champagne wishes and caviar dreams until my trip this
weekend. (It helps to know that they're offering a caviar seminar this
weekend.) :teeth:

Lori- I am also going this weekend!! Have ressies for Party for the Senses on Sat nite- cant wait. Have a great weekend!!

This year you do need a ticket for the international beer tasting at Britain. They will start giving out tickets before each seminar an hour before the seminar is scheduled to begin.

You can just go get in line for the Sam Adams beer seminar.
