F&W Festival - Yes or No????????

Here's the scoop.....

We have let our APs expire and will not purchase them again until our summer trip next year so that we get 2 yrs out of the passes.

On our trip for the MNSSHP coming up in only 20 day we have to purchase tickets. I plan on buying just MNSSHP tickets for our arrival day and then a 1 day ticket for us for our only full day. Since the park hoppers cost nearly the same amount of an extra day I plan on purchasing non hopper tickets.

As the F&W Festival will increase the crowd level in Epcot I'm not sure if that is the park we should go to our not. It is my DS (13) favorite park though

We will attend MNSSHP on 10/12 and our one full day in the park will by 10/13 (Friday).

Any suggestions???????

F&W does make Epcot more crowded (WS in particular). If you're talking about a weekend or Columbus Day, it will probably be worth it to go to another park. A weekday shouldn't be as bad, I think. You might also want to check to see who the entertainment is that night. We ended up in WS on the evening the Beach Boys were there two years ago and there was a mob outside of the Amer. Adv. (near the amphitheatre - don't know the name of it). We could barely walk through there!

I have been twice in Oct, middle and end of Oct, with that being said, i never thought Epcot was that crowded, My DS is also (13) and we had a blast going over to WS for the F&W, he wants to do it again but were are going in Dec.

But again we had a blast at epcot.......
