One week to go for our first Food and Wine Festival!

We can't wait!

Hopefully we will get a chance to meet some of our fellow Dis members!

You will have a blast! I love F&W. We found last year the weekend really busy with locals but weekdays were quieter. Also one day we were in WS right at opening and didn't have to line up once until later in the afternoon when things got busier.

We're leaving 10/4 for 5 days and can't wait! Our first trip to F&W was last year and had a blast.

enjoy, we'll be there on the 8th, looking forward to F&W & Nemo preview too!

still searching to see if the kiosks are accepting the DP snack credits this year.

Leaving 10/1 and can't wait!

Terri

1st Food and Wine for me! Arriving Oct. 1st :bounce:

17 days to go. Its a great time to be at WDW :thumbsup2

22 days for us! Anyone else looking forward to someone posting the F&WF booth menus? DH and I are planning a special dinner Friday to celebrate. We do little things to celebrate milestones in the countdown also. When you plan 300+ days ahead it helps, don't you think? :thumbsup2

Just got back yesterday (10/8). Boy was Food & Wine more crowded than I remembered in the past. On Saturday 10/7 it was just NUTS ! It was so hot and crowded, that it sort of took the fun out of it. We did have a better time Friday night---not quite as crowded (& cooler) as Saturday. We thought alot of FL residents come in on the weekends. We met people from Tampa, Ft Lauderdale, Miami.......

Unfortunately DD hardly gets any vacation, so we have to go for a long weekend!
A little OT - what is icewine? is it sweet?

Icewine is very sweet, definately a dessert wine! Its made during the winter, when the grapes are frozen. My wife loves :goodvibes Icewine!

Regarding crowds, are Sunday evenings any better than Saturdays? Unfortunately/fortunately, we will be there on Monday night, but we're going to MNSSHP then.

We have a bit longer than just a 1 week wait, but we'll get there!
