F&w 2014

Hi folks.!

We are waiting ROFR currently. Sigh...in the meantime I am planning our trip to WDW 2014 with our family. We have 2 LO's (2 and 4 yo)) and are going some time in September. I heard F&W 2014 dates are sept 19th to mid Nov for 6 wks this yr (longest yet). My question - I wonder if we should try to go before??? How busy is it with the begin of F&W? We are more so trying to avoid crowds and chaos. We have bdays to celebrate sept 30tgh but we wouldn't consider this if too crowded . Is it only in Epcot or everywhere?

DH and I would enjoy F&W on our own BUT that is not possible with the kids, not yet anyways. Still too little. Someday again lol. For now we are relishing in the little kid stuff

The crowds at Epcot are much larger then normal but I don't think it spills over as much to the other parks

Anyone have any insight?

We've been going during the Food and Wine Festival almost from the beginning and have always found the crowds to be very manageable. Epcot should be avoided during the weekend, but during the weekdays it's fine. The rest of the parks really don't seem to be impacted by Food And Wine, I think you'll be fine anytime in September.

We went in Early Sept (labor day weekend and just after) last year and there were unbelievably low crowds.

We were there 2012 for the first weekend and found the crowds were very manageable. We didn't go to EPCOT on the weekend.

We just booked BCV for Sept 20-28 and I am VERY excited to check out F&W this time around. Now to figure out what to do with the kids...
