Is there a large viewing area? Or is this another show you have to line up hours in advance for? Just wondering as we are going to try to see it with our 5 and 2 year old... Wish us luck! lol

Yes there is a large viewing area. But there is a large amount of people trying to watch. So it plays twice on the busy nights, not weekdays in the slow seasons.

People do show up 1 or 2 hours ahead of time, and it is standing viewing. There is a dessert package which gives you chairs to sit in, $60. I think 2yo would sit in a lap for this.

It is the entire area of the rivers of america, so yes it is large. you can post up early to get good view "seats" or you can get there late and find a spot as you wish.

If your going early you probably should get there early and wait, if your going for the late showing, just wait out in adventure land as as soon as the fireworks are over, then head down and find a spot.
