F! line up at 6

hi! where exactly do I have to line up at 6 to get a good seat for F! ??? never been to DL before! we are going in july. thx!

F! In DL is just a big open area in front of the Rivers of America. Find the spot you want and plop yourself down.

Unfortunately Fantasmic! at DL is not performed in an amphitheater like at HS. It is performed at Rivers of America, similar to Epcot's Illuminations. Best advice? Either pick Fantasmic's dinner package, or my personal favorite, watch the second show if available. Most people start to leave after the first Fantasmic! and the fireworks, but if you stay after the fireworks for the second show, a good spot is almost guaranteed (or at least much easier to get).

If you don't want to wait for the second show, arriving early at Rivers of America is a really good idea. Many people actually arrive during the afternoon and stays there until the night.

Fantasmic has a dessert package, no dining package, and you get an actual seat for the show. Otherwise, as said, plop yourself down on the edge of the river and wait. You can leave one person with a blanket or something to save the spot so everyone doesn't miss out on that time. Grab a bread blow soup and people watch!

Alternately, for the best second show seating plan on being on the critter country side of RoA during the first show (go on HM, Splash, Winnie the Pooh, and you'll be in the best spot to get the best seating for the second show. They let these people in first, all other people are held in frontier land until CMs get the clear.

The dessert package is rather large, so I wouldn't eat a huge dinner before getting it. Also, I would bring a bag of some sort to take things back with you to your hotel for what you don't finish. (I find the box is easier to tote if you have a bag.)

thanks!!! good idea about bringing a bag!! would you know if there is an obvious sign at the podium to claim the reserved seats?? i do not want to be in the wrong line!

Last July we met up with some friends for F! They had their two girls with them and then just DH and I. We met at 5:30 and put our blankets down directly in the center front of stage right up against the fence. We haven't done this since our boys were little. Anyway, we took turns watching the blankets while the other family went to eat dinner at Cafe Orleans. We even stayed through fireworks and the second show!

We saw that many people were putting down their blankets right around the same time. So if you decide not to go the dessert route, I'd suggest camping out early to get a good spot. It was a long wait but I have to say, the show was amazing from that view point!
