Hi Guys,

I think DF and I are nearly ready with our song choices for both the ceremony and the reception, we are having Soundwave Entertainment Systems for the Wedding! And so far they have been brilliant, I tend to ask a lot of questions and they have been really supportive in answering them. (E.g Please can you create a Dirty Dancing Soundtrack mega mix??) haha They were like... er... Yeah!

Any way... Here are our choices for Ceremony...

Mothers, Officiant, Groom and Best Men and Bridesmaids will walk to - Christina Perri - A thousand Years. (The words to this song are lovely)

Reception...

We were also asked to pick a style of music for the Cockail hour and when the guest 1st start to arrive... We chose.. Vocalists Love Songs (Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, H Connick, M Buble…old & new)

We don't normally do formal introductions here in the UK, and I think our guests may think it a little strange if we do introduce everyone... So I think were just sticking to DF and I.

For our Meal background music were having Classical DISNEY music! It had to get in there some how!

For the cake cutting... (Again - I don't think we schedule music to this at home - But when in Rome)

Nice to see you! You've done lots of planning! Ive just caught up on your PJ!

I haven't yet found the socks, as all the ones I've found look really naff! lol

The Yankee Candles are amazing! We love them, straight from the yankee .com website! We ordered 25 white ones, 20 beige ones, and 3 large jars for presents... total - 200 pound roughly.

However, the cufflinks that i ordered were amazing!!! xxx

OMG... I wanted to show you my beautiful mummy! She found her outfit the other day! She won't be wearing black shoes though... this is her trying it on in the shop! Isn't she a cutie!

Oh... and DFs wedding present from me... was of course from etsy! They are just soooo perfect!

The shop is in Leamington town centre, I would definatley recommend it if your not too far away? Because the lady that owns it spends so much time with each individual person. Mum is quite self conscious u see... and the woman was perfect with her. We were in there for ages... and we were also only supposed to be looking! She stocks sooooo many different styles! The shop is called 'REVOLVE' also a bit far along is a french crepe restaurant! We have one of these too!

Hi Ladies,

We have been having issues for months with the wedding venue's caterer, well... she is the catering co-ordinator. I just don't think she understands anything we mean... When we met with her back in May LAST YEAR... she was all chatty and thats fine, but when someone is telling you things they want at their wedding it might be a good idea to write it down!? No?

So anyway, a little back ground story, DF and I, along with his parents went for a food tasting session in september last year, and we loved all the food - I think I have posted pictures of it here in the PJ - Somewhere.

What we wanted to do was offer guests a choice of either ceaser salad or Jumbo Lump Crab cakes, well apparently that is something they have never done? Why not? Well no biggy we just assumed they would do it. It now seems like a big problem for the chef at the venue? I have already sent out menu choices to guests and they have began replying... obviously some choosing the salad and some the crab cakes??

Anyway... she emailed again today (BTW there has been rather a few emails going back and forth asking questions about food) Suggesting we forget the crab cakes all together and just give all the guests a salad. Or... Rather the large crab cakes as a single choice, offer guests mini crab cakes with ceased salad???

I know I am not a chef, by any stretch of the imagination... but I wouldn't think this would be a problem?

DFs parents are scheduling a meeting with the caterer Feb 29TH to iron out any problems with the menu and the Nibbles for cocktail hour - because that has been a bit confusing too. I don't think sending emails back and forth has been exact ally productive this time.

Right, i don't think that rant was that bad considering! lol Sorry guys!
