On a seperate note... I am so glad to have found your PJ; it is lovely. I love your wedding dress, how pretty..and the head piece is so cool, you look beautiful. I really like your invites and I am now stalking the sites you used for them so I can see of they can help us. I tried impressions and they have some amazing ideas but geeeeez they are so expensive. Well, I am following along! Glad to be here.

Loving the boards this weekend!

So... this afternoon DF and I have been thinking about music for the ceremony... and we have decided on the following...

DF, GM, BM's, MIL, M - Walk down the isle to A thousand Years - Christina Perri
I love the lyrics to this song... and of course its from Breaking Dawn! DF doesn't actually know that though! lol haha

Me and Dad will walk down the isle to - Pacabell Canon (My father of the bride - romantic side!)

and then.... DF and I have chosen a rather quirky song... Land of 1000 Dances! by Wilson Pickett! This will be brilliant! Its from one of our favourite films The Great Outdoors! hehe

On another note... our DJ has given us some other home work. We have to choose ONLY 10 SONGS that we definitely want to hear... This, I think is a hard task... and I may need your help!

What are your favourite songs to hear at weddings??? between us DF and I have only been to 3 weddings! EVER!>? LOL

Hi Fay! Just read through your PJ after seeing the link on your comment on my PJ...wow!!!

I love your dress, you look stunning in it, well doen on your fabulous weight loss! I too have one more stone to go, we can get there together!!!

We were in Florida in May this year and it was so perfect, it only rained once during our 2 weeks there and the parks were empty so it will be perfect for you and your guests!

The poems for your BMs flower girl and friend are lovely, I will also be borrowing them if you don't mind? When do you plan to read them? I was thinking suring our ceremony it could be a nice idea to have one to thank my BMs ... as I have 8! lol.

Im not sure I would look right with curls... I think it makes me look really young! Which in some cases is a good thing... but I don't know!? Those pictures are really nice thank you... but I'm not really sure about the curly ness!? What are you thinking for your hair? Im also having extensions the month before to make it a little thicker. (Not long though)

It makes it harder that I cannot have a hair trial until 2 days before the wedding... which freaks me out a little! lol

BTW... have you finished for xmas yet? I have 2 weeks off now until the new year! and I think I'm bored already! lol its hard when DF is still at work! Im going round to my mums now to irritate her! lol bless!

Fay! Hola. I am glad you had fun with your best friend! I love girl time. I read your poems for everyone and they are so sweet. I am too shy to read anything. I would laugh or cry if I had to read something out loud.

So you opened presents with your bff huh? Santa is going to be highly upset with you for opening presents so early. Naughty girls.

Anywho...looking at your hairstyles I really like #2, maybe a little less messy though. The height is good. Will you get to try your hairstylist out before the big day? I recommend you try the stylist and style before the day. Then you can know what is perfect.

As for my MIL-zilla (mother-in-law-zilla) I am just going to move on and plan with people who actually want to be a part of it.

Did I miss anyting on this round? Hope not. I'll be back to chit chat.

Oh and if you haven't seen it, check out Father of the Bride 1 and 2....just love those movie- in fact FOB 2 was on last night and the DF and I watched it...he made fun at first but then shut up and got into it.

OMG... Father of the bride 1 and 2 are brilliant! However, I watch them with mum and dad rather than DF... I think I put him through it once... and that was enough for him! Me and dad have even practiced walking down the isle... my dad skips! haha he's so funny! bless him!

My theory on the poems - I had no intention to read them out... I would probably giggle or worse still cry! lol So, I have copied them into a thank you card to give them with their present on the morning of the wedding! They can cry as they read it them selves! lol

I have only got 2 days before the wedding to try out hair styles AND make up... It was a girl I met at the MAC counter in SAKs at the Mall at Millenea I think??? She gave me her number and email address, So we get one shot really! lol

Ahhh ok sorry, no curls! They are the styles I have saved for my hair, but now thinking maybe curls and down, or just half up wpuld be nicer? I don't have a trial booked with Beaute but I am thinking now I have a tiara and veil to wear I should do. one of my friends mum and sister are both hairdressers so hoping to have a little practice session one night with my hair and the BMs then take photos when we find a style we like? I am trying to grow my hair for the wedding though

Sadly I am still at work but it's not too busy, hence my mega DIS days, ooops! lol. I am workign all the way through apart from Friday 30th when we fly up to Edinburgh for NYE. It is so quiet at work though so lots of wedding planning and DIS board time for me!

Hey Fellow Brides and grooms!!!!

DF and I had a beautiful christmas... we spent the morning with my family and the afternoon with his. Breakfast with mine, turkey dinner with his! YUM... I ate so much yesterday... clearly the wedding dress diet was off yesterday! lol

We got so many lovely presents! and a few wedding ones too!

A present from my sister and apparent chief BM! LOL Bless her!

I have to post these... this was a present from DFs mum and dad... they are the perfect wedding accessory! I can't wait to wear them!

And... lastly... lol a bit of a random one from when we got back to our house... alone! I had a another gift from DFs mum and dad... A ONSIE! LOL

Hope you all had a happy christmas... Can you believe it some of us will be getting married next year! 2012 BABY! BRING IT ON!
