F&G Crowds Saturday Late Afternoon/Night Late May?

As of right now, pending Disney updating or changing park hours...We would be at Epcot on a Saturday later in the day and into the night. This is during F&G (May 20th). I'm seeing it can get crowded around WS. From those who have been, is it bad enough to completely change our plans and day? We would have our 3 FP booked and then "wing it" walking around WS or other FW rides the rest of the time. Really just want to check out the topiaries, etc. and maybe grab a beverage or snack from a kiosk, but even that's not a priority. Opinions?

We avoided Epcot on Friday/Saturday/Sunday during F&G and are planning the same for F&W, especially because we don't have hoppers this time.

We will have hoppers, but are planning to hop to Epcot as that is the day that works for our plans...we CAN change it but it's so hard to plan with so many timing unknowns until later and closer to the trip!

I was in Epcot late on a Saturday at the end of this past May (May 21, 2016). Future World seemed manageable, but we spent most of our time that night in World Showcase, which was really crowded...I don't remember having any issues in WS though, aside from being annoyed about having to dodge the large groups of people drinking around the world. If I recall correctly, we kept running into at least two large groups that night, one a bachelorette party and another a fraternity group. Otherwise, as long as you don't mind gobs of people everywhere, lines at booths and in shops were fine.

Thank you. This is exactly the input we are looking for in making a decision! We will probably stick to the original plan unless I get FP's that require me to move more things around lol!
