F! Dinner package...help

i am going to call WDW to see if I am able to get a ressie for a F! dinner package......

We had lunch @ MM last year...thought it was pretty good...should I just stick w/MM for dinner or try H & V ??

Any thoughts??

(I really dont want to use 2 credits for BD)

We use H&V when we do the package (which isn't often), but just so that we can sort of control the pace of the meal - since it's a buffet. Generally speaking I tend to avoid eating inside DHS at all, just once-in-a-while dinners at 50s PTC or something.

So long as your ADR time is sufficiently early to finish the MM meal and go get your seats for the show before they close the VIP entrance, go for it.

Yeah, that's July 4th week for you.

I would normally say that you really shouldn't be too upset about not having a package ticket, since the package seats are not the best anyway - but since you're gonna be there that week, I'd keep trying and hope for a cancellation.

I was just about to say "good luck". I am going at the end of September and was unable to get lunch or dinner Fantasmic packages for either date while I am there. Lets just hope that Disney comes to their senses about limiting Fantasmic dates over the summer and they start running it nightly again!

WIth limited Fantasmic showings, I'd take what I could get. Sure the seats are over to the right but IMO there isn't a bad seat in the house. We like NOT having to waddle in with the hordes of crowds AND we like being positioned to EXIT in front of the crowd. ANd we especially liked that advantage when we were there July 4 week several years ago.

We are on the dining plan our next trip & I was unable to book any of the 3 restaurants, I just kept calling and finally got one at H&V. So keep trying & take what you can get. If you get H&V and prefer MM, you can always keep trying for MM and cancel H&V later if you get it. You can cancel up to 48 hrs in advance with no charge to your credit card.

Well I was able to get a lunch ressie for a F! package @ MM....the lunch package opened up yesterday!
