no irritation, I use it at night along my lash line so no mascara as well. I've had good results too. I probably had a bit of side effect where it darken the skin along my lash line, but it looked very natural, just like I used a light eyeliner so I consider it a benefit.
I've used the generic of Latisse, CareProst (Bitmatoprost), for a couple years, and it really does make a big, huge difference. I order it from a pharmacy in India. The one problem with the stuff is, if you quit using it or run out, your lashes quickly go back to their old growth cycle and become all short and stubby again!
Latisse is still on patent and will be until 2022. There is no generic Latisse. The product you describe above is for treatment of another condition and not packaged or marketed for the use you describe above. If you are comfortable using it for an off label indication for vanity purposes, than that's your prerogative, but please, folks don't take this as an acceptable practice.
I recommend anyone interested in using this drug be checked by a doctor to see if Latisse is appropriate for you and your eyes. It does have side effects. Even though you can readily acquire the product mentioned above from abroad, you should only decide to order it if you have a prescription from your own MD.
