Where would anyone suggest is a good place to get eyeglasses? Two of my kids need new glasses and I would like to replace my own. I am looking for decent quality at a good price.

I have used clearly contacts many times, and no issues with returning them if they didnt fit right.

I have also used Zennioptical for my son, as he tends to go through them more! You get what u pay for!! Keep it in mind they are nice, but for a kid that breaks them its worth it!

Just make sure you know their pupilatory (sp?) distance (distance between their pupils aka PD). If they haven't had their eyes checked in a while, go have them checked at your eye doctor of choice...and make sure they put the PD on the perscription.

Never AGAIN will I use Lens Crafters or anyother vision store to buy my glasses. Not when I can buy half a dozen cute pairs of glasses for the price you pay for 1 at those places.

Walmart. Frames with lenses start at $38. Add an exam for $60. So my total was only $98. I am very happy with them.

I second Zennioptical.com I have purchased many pairs for my husband, mother and myself. I have also purchases sunglasses from them.

I used Costco last time. They have a nice selection of frames - including designer - at a good price

We have all just had eye exams this month so we only need glasses. The optical center affiliated with the eye doctor seemed very expensive. We belong to BJ's. Does anyone have experience with them? I would think they would be similar to Costco. I have also thought about checking out Sears. I would really like it to be in a store, not online, so we can actually try the frames on to see if we like them. Thanks for the replies so far :)

We get dd's glasses at For Eyes. Great service and they have a 1yr guarantee.... replace the glasses no questions, and we've used it too!

Walmart have eyeglasses at 40. My glasses was 150 dollars because I got tranistions lenses and I want lightweight lenses. Because basically blind.

I would check for eyes if you have one locally. It may not be on their website but they have kids glasses for $29. They also have coupons on their website.

I just picked up my daughters glasses at Walmart. They are having a summer special starting at $38, JC Penney also has a deal where you can get 2 pairs for $88, but they have to be the same scrip so you wouldn't be able to get one pair for each of the kids. Good luck!
