eye drops on plane

My sister has two seprate eye conditions which require her to take eye drops every 2 hrs or so and well we are going back to july to disneyworld. We have not yet flown with the new restrictions and would like to know If it would be ok for her to bring her eyedrops with her on the plane? We dont want them in her luggage just in case the worst happens as she needs them. If they are allowed how do we go about not getting any hassle there small eye drop bottles but they are considered liquids.thanks again for your knowledge

They are fine in the 3-1-1 baggie, or declared as medications. Look at the TSA website for details.

Chances are, the eye drop bottles are less than or equal to 3 ounces. So you'll have no trouble taking them in your carry-on in that quart-sized zip-top bag. NotUrsula is correct, if they are medications then you can declare them separately, but if they're the right size container, just put them in the 3-1-1 bag, it'll be much less hassle.

I've gone through with them just in my computer bag. I can't remember if they opened the pocket they were in though. They would have to not have a heart if they didn't let you take those on board.

Heart or no, carrying them on in this way technically violates the rules. As has been stated, containers 3 oz. or smaller can go in the 3-1-1 bag. Containers of medical items larger than 3 oz. can be carried on, but need to be declared and should not be in the 3-1-1 bag.
