Eye Cream Suggestions?

I'm looking for a cheap or moderately priced eye cream. I've never found one that I liked enough to buy a second time. They all seem the same to me.

A big obstacle in finding something acceptable is that I will only buy brands NOT tested on animals. So that eliminates 90% of the drugstore/supermarket kind of stuff.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm 25, so it doesn't have to be an anti-wrinkle formula, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt if it is.

it is quite expensive, but the BEST eye creme I garentee you will EVER use is by Dermilogica. Salon cost for my fiance and myself is around $35, making probably around $60 retail. It is amazing and you will see INSTANT results.

I bought an eye cream at Aldi because I was out of my usual and I love it. I bought the one for mature skin (I'm 44). It was under $4. It's is Lacura brand.

I don't know if it is tested on animals or not. I loved it so much I went back and bought the face wash and facial moisturizer too.

ETA: I just found this on the site: Lacura™ products are not tested on animals, are dermatologically tested, and approved and backed by scientific research at Dr. Rolf-Dieter Schilling of Germany's Maxim Markenprodukte laboratory.

I've been using the L'Oreal Micro Pulso from BuzzAgent and I am happy with the results. Some of the creams I've tried have a scent that gives me an instant headache, no problems with this!

Really true! When I was 19 I noticed some of my friends my age getting lines on their foreheads. I went to Maison Blanche (long gone New Orleans department store) and got moisturizer. I'd already gotten a special facial cleanser at 14.

I am now 64. Not that I don't look every day of it, but some of my friends who never took care of their skin have horrible, horrible wrinkles. I am not wrinkle free by any means, but taking care of your skin will help a lot.

I like Philosophy's "When Hope is Not Enough". But my needs are probably different because of my age. My dermatologist (who is the son of a friend and the chair of the department at a major medical school) laughed so hard when I told him the name of my skin products.

This picture is about a year and a half old.

I use Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Super Antioxidant Mattifying Concentrate. Paula's Choice products are available online through http://www.PaulasChoice.com. The product is essentially a serum that can be used on the face and neck, and is suitable for use around the eyes. Only a very small amount of the product is necessary, so one tube of product lasts a while. The serum is color and fragrance free, and is not tested on animals.

Not sure about the animal part, and sure hope they AREN'T tested :(

But RX Renova first, then (inexpensive) Lumene (CVS) Vit C cream make a GREAT team. Amazing results!

I received L'Oreal Collagen Micro Pulse Eye about a month ago from Bzz Agent. The pulse sensation is like getting a "mini-facial." According to the web site (Look @ FAQ) they do not test on animals, but most new chemicals are tested prior to use by cosmetic or other companies.

I'm also a BzzAgent who received the L'Oreal Collagen Micro Pulse. IMO it is for someone who has puffy eye bags - not a 25 year old. I don't have eye bags either, and find the micro pulse doesn't do anything for me.

I would suggest the AM/PM Revitalift eye cream tube by L'Oreal (I was a bzzagent for that product and really liked it!). BTW, don't forget to put cream on your neck as well (use one with SPF). Good job starting early!

Totally agree with you ladies! My mom took me to the Clinique counter when I was 10 and I started using their skin care system then. I now use the cleanser, toner, and acne med from Proactiv and Moisture Surge moisturizer from Clinique (all of which I LOVE). But I have never found an eye cream I liked.

Bags are definitely not my problem. My biggest complaint is really dark circles! And I get plenty of sleep so that's not the issue.

Thanks for the input everyone, I will definitely check some of those out!

Estee Lauder doesn't test on animals

but for a store brand I use Oil of Olay Total Effects eye cream. I really like it and find it comparable to Lancome eye cream I used to use. Its about $19
