AYE! pirate:

I don't have any new pirate pictures tonight...so I'll just keep posting Mr. Depp's photos. I don't think anyone will mind. :thumbsup2

Dang paparazzi, caught us in Mr. Depp's car. We were having a good time until they took our picture! :lmao:

Mr. Depp is none too happy about that!

I'll cheer him up!

Seems slow today. Where is everyone? I've had to keep both Will & Jack occupied. From one of my favorite scenes:

Will:You threatened Ms. Swann

Jack...apologies...Capt. Jack rubs his blade on Will's(I  that part. Sends a chill down my spine for some reason)

Jack says: Only a little

Tara,
Its not that hard. I am not a gamer really, but everyone else in the house is. W have an OLD super Nintendo (from the early 90's), a Nintendo 64, an Nintendo Gamecube, a Playstation 2 a Nintendo DS, and DH and DS are salivating over the upcoming PS3 and Nintendo Wii. I rarely play games but i do like the sims. I can do this one so i would say its not terrible hard.

Wow that's quite a collection you have there. Dh and I were just looking at the Ninetndo Wii in the Target adds on Sunday. We went on the website to figure out what it's all about and it looks interesting. I think the ninetendo 64 is the one I didn't like. I like the ones with the controller w/ the up, down, left, right, a, b, select, start. I can't deal with the bttons on the top, and the triangles, and all that stuff. Inoticed the Wii has the up, down, controller, so we'll see.

ETA: Our Nintendo is the old one too, with Mario 2 & 3, Contra(I love that game), Tetris, etc. You know the one where you have to blow the games to get them to work. :rotfl:

Just popping in before my next class, love all the photos

Yes, I hope there is enough Capt. to go around, I don't want to be left out ;)

See you wenches later, might be gone for the next week or so trying to catch up on School :furious:

Let us know if you need a study break and we'll send the Captain over for you.

Well, I must be off, Mr. Depp and I are having a picnic.

Then it's off with the Captain to do dome lootin' and a plunderin'

normal_potc-1-0682.jpg

Then I have a job interview. Well, new day job, can't be a full time career wench yet. And I have class later tonight. The Captain isn't quite sure how he feels about this.

But I told him that I would secure funds to repair the Black Pearl, so he bid me a fond farewell.

I also need $$$ for me land lubber mobile...the insurance estimator came out to assess the damage from my run-in with the deer the other night....I may have totaled my car!!!! :sad2:

The Captain says he may be able to help, he knows someone inTortuga, but he can't remember his name

Just so you know about the Wii: Its a full body experience. The controller is like a remote - no wires. And to use it you have to mimic the action that you want the character to make - swing your arms, jump, punch, ets. It would probably be a great work out!

Oh great, trying to sneak exercise into our fun are they?
Actually I had been thinking about switching up my normal work out routine, but I was thinking more along the lines of going from this:

To this

and maybe even a little of this, but only on the weekends(for cardio purposes)

cool. I may have to look into it. We don't really play video games. We don't have playstation or X box or any of those. DH and I have an old nintendo and we bought the atari retro or whatever it was called that was released last year I think it was, but that's it. I'm also a little addicted to Diner Dash(and now the kids are too). Is it hard to play?

you will like it especially if you like the Capt or even Will. You can play as either character. The voice of the Capt tho is the REAL Capt. Its amazing and so satisfying.
It can be tricky figuring out what buttons do what, but once you figure that out, the game itself is not too hard to figure out. It is more an arcade type game (like the old Commando) rather than a brain hard thinkng game. Little common sense and you can progress up the levels.
The really cool part is playing with a partner. They play as will and you as the capt and then you beat the bad guys up and solve the puzzles together, its really cool.
I got mine online at amazon for $19.99 walmart(which i think it really came from target.com) here had them at $39 I believe, they had just arrived

Like mad said, the gun is blurry though.

Thanks Tara, even though it is a bit blurry at least it shows the whole gun.... :thumbsup2

I think Mr Depp may be demonstrating how to play the new video game you all have.... :thumbsup2

However I think it does perplex him a bit still...like me, reading about it... :)

I am no gamer, my DH plays games on the computer and I have played Tetris and Solitary but that is about it for me...it does sound fun though with two players and the Captain's own voice.. :sunny:

the amusing part is when my hubby and I were playing together, there are some scenes you have to keep repeating until you successfully pass them, however, when I play by myself I allow the parts with The Capt talking to repeat(you can scan the dialog) , hubby plays with me and he skips the dialog. He will listen the first time, but wont repeat it if we have to do the level again.
I assume he must not realize why I actually play the game. I guess he thinks I am playing the game, just for the game..really I play it to hear the Capt talk  :rotfl:

Is it the one called "Legend of Jack Sparrow"? I saw it at walmart.com for PS2, but is there a version for the computer?
