I was just on DeppImpact.com website. Trish (webmaster) has a blog and on it she states she heard from Disney publicity people that the rumor that Orlando Bloom's character would be killed off is strictly unfounded.

And finally, I received an e-mail from the Disney publicity people about the rumors that Will Turner's character will be killed off in future POTC films. They confirm the story is just a rumor and should not be taken seriously.

"Good afternoon –

As some of you may have seen, there have been some rumors going around online regarding potential absence of Orlando Bloom in the future Pirates of the Caribbean films. We are working closely with Disney and want you to know that while we cannot comment on specific plot points, such rumors are completely unfounded.

Please let me know if you have any questions."

I got a "The Lighter Side" catalog today and I found an 18in Jack Sparrow figurine (he talks) and also a POTC Monopoly game. Looks pretty cool. Think I might get the game.

Lets's see,
the PoTC DVD, a capt Jack keychain, both of my kids have Capt Jack folders,
I, uh, encouraged my son to get the Capt Jack halloween costume (and decided I look quite good in the hat ) I bought my 5 yr old daughter a black and hot pink shirt that has a pic of Capt Jack on the front and says "a pirates life for me" And a poster will soon be hanging in my sons bedroom (b/c DH would just never go for it otherwise LOL) So convenient having children that appreciate the Captain!

I had a busy day with the Captain...

We awoke on a beach, still groggy from the previous night's adventures

But when I suggested Tortuga,

the Captain plotted a course and we set sail.[/B]

After drinking all the rum in town,

we got a little too cozy on a public beach,

and wound up doing a brief stint in jail.

Next we set off for Port Royale, where we got into it with the locals.

The Captain even got into a swordfight with a handsome blacksmith who wanted me for himself!

But the Captain shivers me timbers, and so I rowed off into the moonlight with me hero!
