Absolutely. DH and I were talking about it last night, and it obviously has to be a made-up rumor. Budget cuts? Come on. I think it is just someone wanting Elizabeth and the Capt. to hook up, and the only way for that to happen would be to kill off Will. I don't know; I also don't see Disney killing off one of the main characters .

I'm all for killing off Elizabeth. However, even if they did kill off Will, I DO NOT want to see her hook up with Captain Jack. That kiss looked awkward enough to me that I don't need to see anymore. The Capt. needs to remain free.....besides he's got his hands full with all of us DIS wenches.

I was reading part of a POTC child's book at walmart(think that is where I saw it) and it was saying that Capt use to work for the east india tea company, and was well liked except by one guy who had him branded and turned outlaw, Capt enjoyed being an outlaw(pirate) and stuck with it. So, there is framework there for movies prior to COBP.
I think Capt will get the girl, whether Will is alive or not..lets face it she is rather fickle anyways. First Norrington, then Will and then she was kissing the Capt.

Speaking of him, I absolutely LOVE the name Cutler Beckett. I told DH if we have another baby, and it's a boy, I want to name him Cutler Beckett Schultz. He just gave me that look like "I knew I shouldn't have married a crazy woman".
ETA: of all the "loose ends" that were left by POTC2, the one that is killing me the most is what mark is it that the Capt. left on Cutler Beckett. Anybody else dying to know? Or is it just me?

In her defense, she only agreed to marry Norrington to save Will, and kissing the Capt. was just to save everyone else....but I agree with Tara that Jack should not be tied down to any woman

It says Mickey's halloween treat, so I'm assuming that's disneyland not WDW, right? Too bad, me, you, and Sherrie could meet up and chase that Captain down.

Yep, I'll be at Disneyland. I supposed I could be persuaded to let the Captain go so he can get to WDW in time for my fellow wenches. I just hope he's not too tired.
