We will be there April 12-18:scared1: DDIL is a teacher and it is our spring break so you know how that goes.I have only been the beginning of November and the first week of December,I have explained to them that it is going to be EXTREMELY CROWDED because it is a holiday week so just trying to prepare them somewhat because this is their first trip ever to Disney. Our group consists of 3 adults and 2 children ages 3 and 1,we will be staying offsite and are planning on doing 5 days in the parks,1 day at Downtown Disney and 1 day relaxing at our resort.

We are driving down and will be going back to the resort for daily naps,my grandsons are used to being up early between 5-6 am so we will have an early start each day with afternoon break and then back to parks for the evening for as long as the kids can make it,they are use to going to bed early. We plan on going at their pace,of course, not ours.We are planning on doing 2 days at MK,2 days at AK and 1 day at HS.We are skipping EP cause not much for the kiddos there although I told my DS and DDIL that i will stay at resort with the kiddos a couple evening so they can go explore EP and have some alone time.

We have reservations for lunch at the Tusker House and H&V for character meals, breakfast will be at the resort each morning since we have a full kitchen and dinner will be whatever we decide probably counter service meals or offsite for the other meals.

Just like alot of other people on the dis I am nervous about the FP+system,I have been reading trying to gather all the info I can and it is confusing to me so if anyone can enlighten me it would be greatly appreciated. My questions are as follows:
1) Since we are staying offsite we will have to make our selections at the park each day at the kiosks correct?
2) Where are the kiosks located and is it going to be a long wait to use them?
3) We will need to take screenshots of all the FP so we will be able to remember times correct?
4) Since staying offsite we will not have the magic bands so will we have a paper ticket or the credit card type to put in the machines?
5) Will we have to link them all to one card/pass and if so how is this done?
6)What exactly is tiering I have seen posts saying not to pick fp+ selections if you want a tier1 and it is unavailable just wait and try later because if you select lower tiers you will not be able to select a tier 1 at a later time is this correct?
7) Do we need to get FP+ for character m&g and if so which ones are recommended? No princesses needed

This is my first trip with little ones so any advice for anything else will be highly welcomed.Sorry for the long post and all the questions that I am sure everyone is tired of answering but I am extremely overwhelmed and could use all the help I can get.TIA!
