Due to a very strange dilemma involving my high school diploma being in my house in florida, and well, me needing it, a quick trip was planned to drive down to FL, get it, make a quick stop at Disney for a day, thend rive back to NJ. But now it turns out, I don't need it right now after all. But my mind was so set on going to Disney, here's what me and my boyfriend did:

Driving down to Florida April 25th, and checking in at Pop Century.
Going to MK for a day, on the 26th.
Doing rides at Epcot, and MGM on the 27th, all whilst checking out that morning and heading home after parks, intime to go to work at 1 pm friday the 28th.

We're nuts, right? Any advice to make the most of our short amount of time there??

Yes you are truely nuts but have fun and drive safely.

You aren't nuts. Most of my Disney trip are like this. I live in FL and usually plan four or five short trips a year. My trip last December was drive up, go right to spcot, stay until 2 or 3, go check in to CSR. Rest, go back to Epcot for dinner and Illuminations then back to hotel. Next mornin, see what we missed at Epcot and leave by two to drive home.

As long as you don't try to do everything and remind yourself that you'll be back and catch what you miss then, you'll have fun.

You're not nuts, but I assume you are young which would account for the energy!!! LOL!! We've done this, but with a plane not a car. Sometimes a last minute mini trip is a blast! The only thing I would tell you is if you want to eat in any sit down restaurants is to call now to get a ressie. What a mini trip does is force you to see the stuff you really really love. For us it's the MK. Just do what you really enjoy.

Have a Great Time!!!

You are definitely not nuts. You are doing what I call a Mouse Suicide Run. Which I do all the time. It's only a seven hour drive for me, though. Just did it last month since my husband had a racquetball tournament and would be out of the house all weekend. Left here Friday after work, drove to the Florida border, stayed there overnight, got up and was going through the Animal Kingdom turnstyle by 10:30 AM Saturday. Enjoyed Animal Kingdom for longer than I expected, rode Expedition Everest again, then checked into the offsite hotel, went back to Epcot, met with a friend, and saw Illuminations. Went home on Sunday.

And I just turned 44 so have lots of fun!!!!
