Extremely Jealous!!!

My parents are in the world right now and it's driving me nuts. They made it known they wanted to go completely by themselves! Since I'm the reason they are going in the first place I wanted to experience it with them. My mom went with my dh and I and she's been raving about it to my Dad.
He's very skeptical about all of this and doesn't understand my love.
Well, he's understanding it right now!!! So far they did AK and they did Epcot tonight. I call them every couple of hours and I think I'm driving them nuts! I feel like a child again!!
Anyone feel my pain! Do you find yourself extremely jealous when you hear someone you know is going??

my whole family is going to florida for thanksgiving and my brother and his best friend that we both grew up with are staying at POP for a few days. I'm soo jealous that I'm not going, that I planned my next trip to go in Feb. But I know while I'm working, I'll be thinking "ARG I COULD BE HAVING FUN IN DISNEY!!! "

My mom and my sister leave on wednesday for 10 days! They keep calling for advice, which I don't mind giving, but I am jealous!

I can't get too mad though. We leave Dec. 2nd

Seems when we're down there, we like to call home to our friends and sort of rub it in with guess we're were at and what we're doing but when an acquaintance or friend is down there, we rather not here from them. We're too envious of where they are at, knowing how much fun and enjoyment they are having.

I think its great when family or friends are there and we talk daily, they call with questions, I ask questions, this keeps my Disney fix in tact, and when I'm there the rolls are reversed. Its like wishing there trip away, so yours gets closer. They returned yesterday, we leave in 19 days. Can't wait.

I feel your pain. In my family that would NOT be allowed. I would have invited myself and they couldnt say a word otherwise!

When my DD,s and I are jealous of family and friends going to WDW, we express our rage in very ugly little interpretive dances. Sometimes we add a yelp or a few anguished screams. We always feel a lot less bitter afterward.

Actually, I am very happy for them. They did deserve to go by themselves since it's their 35 wedding anniversary. Plus, I'm leaving soom to go the World. But still, no matter how much you tell yourself all those things, it's still killing me that I'm not there with them!!!!!!!!

My parents are retired and are DVC members, so they're down there almost constantly. They've been down 6 times this year and just got back last weekend from a full week at DL and DCA. Not only do I never go with them, I also am the one who gets saddled with watching their menagerie for them while they're gone (3 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, about 20 chickens, and a turkey named Clyde). I can't say too much right now, though, 'cause I'm leavin' myself soon.

Last week was a school break for one of the school districts here. I work with kids and it seems that all my clients went to WDW last week! One family went on the Disney Cruise. So of course they are all coming back and telling me about the wonderful times they had! But thats ok because I'll be there in 30 DAYS!!!

Don't worry. You're not the only ones. My DDad had never been to WDW until I dragged him 3 years ago. DM had not been since the year they opened Epcot. I took myself when I turned 27. So I became the Disney addict late in life.
Anyway, last time at WDW, DH and I purchased DVC. We plan a great big trip including my parents. We are checking in a week from Sunday. But since parents got free flights two days prior to us checking in, they are staying at the Dolphin before we even get there. What's up with that?! Since our trip 3 years ago, my parents have been to Disneyland at least 3 times for conventions and WDW at least once. I find it funny since they never took us as kids.

I was waiting for a response like that. You can always expect atleast one here on the dis!! Calm down!! Did you not here my say I'm very happy for my parents?!?!? I just said I wish I was with them!!
Anyways, my parents just called from MK and said they are having a awesome time. There are NO LINES the weather is 85 and they are doing every ride. I am pleasently surprised by that! Oh...and get this...yesterday they were chosen for a golden fast pass!!! How awesome! They said they didn't really need it but it will be a great collector's item.
I cound't be happier for them but I want to be there right now!!!!!

I'm very calm, thanks. But if anyone was calling me every few hours while I was in WDW, my cell would be immediately turned off (which it usually is anyway). That's what I meant.

Okay, the "calling every five hours" was a bit of an exageration! Listen, if you don't like the comments and can't understand we crazy disboarders (thanks in advance for those of you behind me) then please don't read my thread!
This was meant to be light and funny and to take my mind off my parents being in Disney World without me!!!!!
To tell you the truth, honestly, my parents have actually called me more!! Plus, if I was really bothering them they would have shut off their phone already!

I totally understand where you're coming form. I just got a text from my sister...My mom got picked for the Indy show today!

I jsut keep telling myself I'll be much happier in 15 days when we're there and they're not!
