Extreme Makeover: TAGLIARCHY Edition

I had no sales again today
Not even a single phone call
But, I'm still trying not to get frustrated.
The one thing that I am disqusted with is how much money I have put into advertising, and I'm not getting anyone to acknowledge it. I guess I was hoping that people would see my ads and call to inquire about the place. Oh well, I just gotta keep the faith, and tell myself that I know things will pick up soon.



Well, this is my last 45 minutes here, and then I"m going to rush home, woof down dinner, and then Kevin and I are going to take the girls shopping at Kohl's. Poor Stephanie has basically no shorts to wear I need to go buy her some before the winter clothes start coming out


I may not post first thing in the morning because I may sleep in a little before coming to work. So....I will see you all sometime tomorrow

I actually am in my church bulletin, and after I start making some money I'm going to go into another one. This other one is a church with 3000 families - I definitly want to be in that one!!!

I slept in a little longer than normal for me, and it felt good. We were out late last night (until 10:30pm) buying Stephanie new summer clothes. I'm glad we went, because Kohls was having a pretty good sale She got alot of new stuff!!!!


Today the bank, by my plaza, is having a 2nd Grand Opening celebration to help spark some new business. The PD and FD are both there, and they also have a jumpy house, clown, and food. Kevin is there representing the FD, so the girls are happy because they can be over there and have fun


I'm hoping that this event will help generate some awareness of my store. I haven't had anyone come in yet, but the days not over yet - hopefully someone will come in today

We have both sides of the family coming today. With it being so hot, we should hopefully have some good pool time after we are done eating. I know the girls are already looking forward to being in the pool today

We had a very nice day here yesterday
I was a relaxing fun day here with both our families
We also had some good pool time and we all had some really good laughs in there. You never know what's going to happen when you get the whole family in a pool together

The frame business has 2 slow seasons
-right after X-Mas
-summer time

It's actually pretty good that I opened in the slow season so that my employee can get trained properly, so when the busy season begins, she will really know what she is doing

I think this is the latest I have ever checked in

I was to tired to get us the morning and DIS because last night at 1:30am we got a phone call saying that the security alarm was going off at the store . So I had to get up and come here to turn it off. Then I was wide awake and couldn't fall back asleep for a long time. Then when I did finally fall asleep, I felt someone poking me at 4am, and it was Katie. She woke up from the thunderstorm. Then soon after that, Stephanie was woken up from the thunderstorm. I put them both on the floor next to my bed, and we all fell back asleep. What a night I'm sure tired today!!!!

When I got to work, I called the alarm company and told them that the police officer told me "it was time to fire my alarm company!!" I also told them that the town was going to start billing me $100 a false alarm, and that I'm going to take that $100 out of the bill I owe them - I'm not paying that!!!

Today the newspaper came to photograph me and the store. They are doing an article in the paper, and when I find out when it's going to print. I will give you all the link to see it online - I'm so excited!!! I hope this gives me some much needed exposure!!!


Well, I gotta run and get some paperwork done

Hi Belle did you do anything special with Beast off work?

We stayed home...he was tired plus he wanted to work the garden. He has barely time to sleep tonight because he won't be home until late and he has to be up at 5 am to cover Saturday morning.

I am a bit sad today...found out yesterday that another great-aunt died (my late Granddad's older sister...was going to be 92 in August). My late Granddad was 1 of 10, and now there is only one sibling alive. NC Beast does not know too many people from that part of my family. I couldn't go to the last family reunion.
