I've met folks who work the production side of the show and believe me, EMH is one of the largest productions out there. They will take of the neighbors lawn, no worries.

I've always wondered, when they go in and bulldoze like this:

What happens to the water and gas pipes? I know they turn them off, but I'd think the pipes would get completely destroyed in the demolition. Do they end up having to lay in new pipes?

My house was a modular built in 1993. An old home on the property was torn down before my cellar was excavated and pored. The water and gas were turned off/capped at the street (property has only about 10 ft of set back) and the pipes on property were replaced.

Ironically the new water pipe was pierced after being installed so our move in was delayed a couple of days while it was replaced.
