Extra Tours? (and some other questions)

I don't have any tips but I'm looking for some!

We are planning a trip to WDW next year. The last time we went to WDW we did the Behind the Seeds and Wild Africa Trek and had a wonderful time. Could someone recommend another tour that would be equally as fun yet not expose the secrets behind the magic? (We don't want to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour, for instance.)

Also, do you think WDW will be decorated for the holidays and have the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in mid-November? This year it seems to start around 08 November. Is that typical?

We want to go when the park is decorated but also when it is very quiet. We want to see the special parade and fireworks.

Thanks for all the help!

If you have kids in the 6-10 age I would recommend the Family Magic tour, and it's a steal at 25ish bucks. If you have the money the dolphin swim and aquarium snorkling is *amazing.* I haven't done it yet, but I'd like to try the Pirate and Pals fireworks boat ride. It's led by pirates, and you get taken out on the lake to see the fireworks, and they do trivia. When you get back to the docks, you get met by a character, it looks cool. :thumbsup2

And yes, mid november should have the lights and decorations up. You can start looking at the beginning of the year, I believe, just see when they have MVMCP. That's when the parades and fireworks go on, keep in mind you have to *pay* to see those things unless you are... I shan't say 'insane' but I'll go with 'bolder than I' and go the week of christmas.

Excellent! Thank you for the ideas. The Dolphin swim sounds incredible. Wild Africa Trek was similarly priced but absolutely worth it. I'm sure all Disney tours are.

I didn't even see the Pirate and Pals tour on the website until now. Great find. My husband would LOVE to do that! Oh, so many great things to do... so many reasons to keep returning to the park!

We wanted to do surfing lessons but the water parks are closed when we go due to winter, even though those of us from up North think Florida winters are still hot.

As far as I know the water parks do not close down for the winter... only for maintenance. You might want to check back on that.

If they don't close down, then they don't have hours or tour times for November posted yet. We'll certainly keep surf lessons as an option, should the water parks be open.
