Have any of you guys ever come home with a very Disney washcloth?? or other Disney owned item??

This was not intentional at all...but now I don't know how to return it.

My disboard friends can be honest to a fault. So...what would you do? Is it ok to keep the souvenir? Would you just return it on your next trip?? Would you find someone to send it to at Disney? Would you send Disney a buck or two?

Just curious.

call the front desk with the phone number on your ressie if you still have it, or look up the number on the DIS or DVC site. Tell them your problem and let them be the one to say "just keep it".

:lmao:Whoa! When people talk about coming home with an extra souvenir, I always think some pixie dust was sprinkled on them and they are coming home with a baby on the way!

If it makes you feel better, just return it on your next visit by leaving it in your villa when you depart.

This is sort of like when we attended a new church and I got up thinking I had my Bible but guess again it was the hymnal. Did not realize until we got home I had both in my hand.:rotfl2:I would do the same thing with my WDW extras that I did with the church property. I just waited until the next Sunday and slipped it back in the pew without anyone but my family being the wiser. This stuff happens to all of us at some point in time.

I would just return it on my next trip. I can't imagine wanting it as a souvenir.

Alexander, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send all the pixie dust you can find. I would love to come home with a baby for a souvenir.

DH and I really want to add to our family of two.

Well, um, for my birthday we did a split stay and both hotels provided me with towel, erm washcloth, animals, as part of my celebration. At the end of the stay (for both hotels) I took them home. They were always left on the kitchenette counter so they weren't added in to my towel inventory.

At BCV, upon check-in when walked in to find a Mickey head made out of two washcloths and a hand towel, and we ended up using those during the week.

Anyway, the two washcloth "animals", well one is a birthday cake, sit displayed in my daughter's bathroom.

I really wouldn't sweat over a washcloth.

I always assumed housekeeping left them so they wouldn't have to make a new one every day. I would never think of taking a hotel's linens home with me. Especially at DVC where my dues will have to replace any stolen linens or other items.

To the op, you have gotten a lot of good suggestions. You can also just mail it back.

Our second grandson is one of those special Disney souvenirs

Here's some pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust: for all you who would like to bring home one of those special souvenirs from your next trip.

Our room was completely missed on our 'full clean day' and when i casually mentioned this the following week to mousekeeping doing trash and towel, the lovely lady finished what she was doing and left the room. Around 20 minutes later, there was a knock on the door and she had returned with 2 washcloth animals which she specifically told my DD8 to take home with her. My DD did then want to take them as she had heard mousekeeping say that she could so on this occasion I allowed her.

I also thought you were going to say you had a baby on the way. Here's some hugs and a prayer that maybe your dream will come true!!

If it concerns you, mail it back to the resort with a card that says, "ooops this tried to run away from home". :thumbsup2
