Extra sneakers?

I have a couple pair of Croc sandals that are great for the rain. I also take sneakers, and I rotate shoes every day, if not changing them during the day.

I’m planning to only wear my Teva sandals to the parks. Flip flops for the pool. Hopefully that’s ok since we are only doing carryons.
Or wear your most comfortable sneakers on the plane and attach your flip flops to your carryon with a quality carabiner. Pack your more $ Tevas in the carryon.

In addition to the outlet mall (I-4), there's a few options for buying sneakers/footwear in Disney Springs. Among them are: Under Armour, Fit2Run, Sanuk, and Havaianas.

On one visit, I neglected to pack sneakers, and I was able to buy a pair at UA for a very decent price. I don't know if they still offer it, but they gave me 10% AP discount at the time. I picked them because they were among the lowest priced ones, but they were excellent.

It does not matter what time of year I go.
I always wear a pair of sneakers and pack a pair of sneakers and a pair of flip flops for the pool.
When my feet do get soaked I'll walk around in the soggy socks and sneakers the rest of the day although I have relatively quick drying sneakers so they aren't usually THAT wet the rest of the day. But then I'll wear the other pair of sneakers the next day just to let the wet ones fully dry and air out.

When you travel in the summer with all the pop up thunderstorms and downpours do you pack two pairs of sneakers so you have dry ones for the next day/later that day? How do you handle if your feet and shoes get soaked?
Well my family and I have hey dudes which are SUPER comfy, lightweight, and seem to dry pretty quickly. So we truly have no problems with water. But then again if I had sneakers I would take 2 especially if it's hot.

We always pack a couple of pair, rotating shoes each day helps reduce foot and leg fatigue as well as giving us a backup if/when our shoes get wet.

We bring two pairs. It’s nice to have dry shoes and lets the sweaty gross shoes air a day if it doesn’t rain.
I carry light flip flops in my backpack in case of heavy rain. We swap before we exit a building into downpour. Saved us in a downpour that flooded walkways at Epcot. (But pro tip, check that the lightning is not directly overhead when making a dash between buildings.)

I bring 2 pairs and Flip flops. My sneakers have been wet but mostly will dry fast enough. I can recall the worst soaking was staying at BW walking back from HS. We waited under the overpass long enough to wish we had a chair. Problem is the walkway floods so even when the rain stopped…. This was to the point the sneakers shrunk after they dried and were tossed after the trip. BW=flip flops or like skip extra socks if you plan on the walk. This was not the first time I was under the overpass but the worst… There were a few semi soakings in the parks that had to dry out but usually overnight was fine if not dry before i left the park.

2 pairs of sneakers, Tevas with an ankle strap and pool slides. Whenever we go back to the room, shoes are switched out. We even bring charcoal deodorizing shoe inserts to help with any in room funk.

DH has suffered on past trips by not bringing a variety of shoes, including a daily change of shoes. In his mid-50s now, he is finally taking my advice this year! We will put a second pair in a locker when we arrive so he can switch at some point during the day.

I always bring at least two pairs. Not even due to rain, it can also be helpful to swap them out if your feet are sore/you're getting blisters somewhere, just because a different pair will rub your feet in a different way. Depending on how wet they are, newspaper and/or the hairdryer can help if you need to dry a pair out quickly.
