Extra Park Days on Tickets

We will be in Disney for six days. We plan on having one day as a pool day and seeing HDDR that night, so we have theme park tickets for five days. If, once we get to Disney, we change our mind and want to visit a park on our pool day, can we add extra days to our tickets, and if so will it be at a higher rate than if we pre-purchase?

It will cost $10.65 per ticket to add another theme park day to a 5-day ticket.
