But they did inform you they were doing it. I posted about it several months ago when the update to MDE came out and the notice first appeared. So I'm not sure what you are saying they are doing without your permission.

I've only had iPhones so maybe other operating systems behave differently but typically when apps accesss hardware like the camera they pop up a warning at least the first time. And if you look at the wording on the release notes it says "The app will request access to the camera for ...". Ditto for location services. But the terminology in the paragraph describing the blue tooth feature says "This app now uses wifi and Bluetooth" which implies to me it is not going to request access to BT. (I tried to copy the exact language but my phone is not cooperating). Have I been informed, yes. Have I given permission, technically yes by using the app. But it is standard (again at least on iPhone) for apps to request access to hardware and Disney is doing it for other features but not this. It makes me wonder why.
