Help me to understand the basics of the Extra Magic Hours program.
Apparently, you need to be a guest at a Disney Resort - have that. Do you also have to purchase an "Extra Magic Hours" upgrade with your theme park ticket, or are the extra hours already included in your theme park ticket?
There is mention that wrist bands are distributed no earlier than two hours before regular park closing and I was wondering if I needed to purchase an "upgrade" for my ticket.
Thanks.

while our younger two stayed in the room with their Granny....we took our 5yr old to MK. You have get your bracelet before the park closes. There are usually several stations you can get these at(don't make the mistake of standing at the entrance of MK...it was an hour long when we were there!) just ask a CM where you can get them. THere is no extra charge for them...just show your KTW card. Those two nights where we took our DD out were the highlight of our trip in her eyes...and we did lots of magical things! It took a bit for the park to empty out...after the fireworks... and once CMs were checking for bracelets on rides. There was hardly any wait to see the characters there.
