Extra magic hours

Okay. So this may be a dumb question but I guess I am just not getting it. The hours on the dis website for Magic Kingdom for Sunday April 27th are until 11:00pm in green. Does that include the extra hours or is it open even later with the hours. And what does up to 3 hours mean, is it usually 3 or less? Sorry, its my first time going and I am just confused.

If "11pm" is shown in green...then the park will be open until 2am.

Evening extra magic hours means the park will be open 3 extra hours...I've never heard of it being less than 3 hours.
